How to fix illegal immigration in five steps without building a wall

Insanity

There’s just no point bothering with people who are this logically incoherent. It’s hopeless. I give up.

When Shawn and Virginia Dumais of Anderson, S.C., missed Donald Trump’s visit to their home state, they decided to drive 1,100 miles (nearly from the Georgia border) to attend his final rally here ahead of the New Hampshire primary…Shawn changes motor oil for a living at Valvoline Instant Motor Oil and complained that the lack of well-paying jobs in the South has made it difficult to keep up with the cost of living. His wife Virginia, who used to work as a hotel maid, said she’s been collecting Social Security disability since 2008, due to the effects of exposure to cleaning chemicals. “Social Security Administration is trying to take my [money] from me, because they’re trying to say I’m able to work, but I’m not able,” she said…Neither of them would be defined as typical conservatives. On the one hand, Shawn said Obamacare was “the worst thing that they’ve ever done to the country” because of the fines imposed on people who don’t have insurance. Yet he said he voted for President Obama in 2008 and also insisted there needed to be a $20 federal minimum wage.

Following the speech, I spoke with Russell Kelcourse of Quincy, Mass. who said he came to the rally “to see our next president.” He said he was “sold” on Trump after the candidate said he would tax Chinese goods 45 percent (which Trump later said was misunderstood). So I asked him whether he was concerned that the prices of goods would become more expensive to Americans. “Yes, I am,” he said. “But I’m also concerned that I can’t buy my child, he’s two and a half years old, something made in America. So I’ll pay an extra 10 percent, 15 percent.”

Make sure you thank Obama, soon-to-be-dead Syrian children.

Yep. All the “anti-establishment” movement is doing so far is making “the establishment” look pretty good to me. If the alternatives to “the establishment” are Trump and Sanders I’ll take McConnell and Ryan all day, every day.

Sanders and Trump are the same totalitarian candidate.

“Thanks, buddy!” -Donald Trump

I’m glad Carly Fiorina ran for President. It was important to have a voice for this message.

To young girls and women across the country, I say: do not let others define you. Do not listen to anyone who says you have to vote a certain way or for a certain candidate because you’re a woman. That is not feminism. Feminism doesn’t shut down conversations or threaten women. It is not about ideology. It is not a weapon to wield against your political opponent. A feminist is a woman who lives the life she chooses and uses all her God-given gifts. And always remember that a leader is not born, but made. Choose leadership.

Dreams really do come true.

A team of scientists announced on Thursday that they had heard and recorded the sound of two black holes colliding a billion light-years away, a fleeting chirp that fulfilled the last prediction of Einstein’s general theory of relativity.
